Country Crock has been a brand that I have grown up with, and right now they have a challenge that is fun and delicious! It is the Make It Yours Challenge (#MakeItYours) I love to bake, so I accepted the challenge immediately.

They have a delicious and easy recipe on their website which is the one I followed and it is so simple! Also if you have kids it would be a fun activity that they can help out with (on Country Crock’s website they have tips for baking with kids). This challenge is also fun and creative because it can be a way to show ones creativity in deciding what to mix-in or top off your cookies with.

Erik and I decided to make two batches of cookies; we made one batch from the original recipe but added in chocolate cocoa powder and topped them off with York peppermint patties. The Other batch we made the original recipe from Country Crock’s website and topped them off with Hershey’s kisses filled with caramel.

We also used cookie cutters for some of the cookies and it just made them even better because they were so cute. I think everyone loved them because they were disappearing quite quickly.
